The perfect choice when framing.
Most of the damage that occurs to canvas prints is puncture holes. Mounting to masonite it a great durable way to prevent that. Canvas prints mounted to masonite do not come ready to hang but are the perfect way to order a print if you have a frame you want to put your canvas print in.

Above is an example of a canvas print mounted to masonite. Masonite is thin only 1/8 of an inch, but it is very strong.

Mounting to masonite is done by coating a sheet of masonite with an extremely high tac double sided adhesive. Then with extremely high pressure the canvas is mounted to adhesive coated sheet of masonite. Even though the adhesive is very strong it is a good idea to frame the print that is on masonite to prevent the edges from lifting over time.
